Frequently Asked Questions

Need A Yes (Hirer)

As a Hirer, how is my credit card charged to pay an Earner when he completes a job for me?

When logged into the website, select the “Payment” tab under your name on the top right corner. The “Payment” tab will allow you to add your credit card information to Stripe’s secure payment processing system. Your credit card will be charged automatically 48 hours after a Hirer marks your job complete unless you complete payment before that time. See the Payment Policy for more information.

I only want to Hire and do not plan to Earn. Is this okay?

Yes, our site offers the options to Hire, Earn or both. When logged into the website, select the “Settings” tab under your name in the top right corner. Indicate your preferences under “Notifications” within “Settings.”

How do I cancel a job post if it hasn’t yet been accepted by an Earner?

If no Earner has accepted your job post, you can select “Unlist” on the bottom right of your post. When your tagged friends try to accept this post, the job post will no longer be visible to them. You can also cancel a job post by selecting the trash can image in the top right corner of the post. Clicking on the trash can image will completely delete the listing from the feed.

How do I cancel a job post if it has already been accepted by an Earner?

To cancel the job after it’s been accepted by an Earner, you can select “Cancel Request” on the bottom right of the post. The Earner will be notified that the job post is no longer active. If you cancel within 24 hours of the start time of the job, there will be a cancellation fee that will be paid by you to the Earner. Please see our Payment Policy.

What steps should I take if my job post was accepted by an Earner and shows “pending”, but the job was not completed and I can’t get in touch with the Earner?

Strongly consider only sending job requests to friends and acquaintances you feel confident will follow through with your requests and/or keep the status of their acceptance current. If the Earner does not complete your job, you can click on the “i” (information) button on the job post and select “No Show.” This will inactivate your post so that payment will not be submitted to the Earner who did not complete the task. Please note that “No Show” cannot be selected until after the job time ends.

What if I hire someone for a job and only part of the job was completed?

Strongly consider only sending job requests to friends and acquaintances you feel confident will follow through with your requests and/or keep the status of their acceptance current. As per the Payment Policy, your card will be charged automatically 48 hours after a job was marked completed by the Earner. During that time, you will have the chance to dispute the determined amount by selecting “Dispute” on the job post listing. Once “Dispute” is selected, the automatic payment will be paused. If you choose to dispute the completion of the job, please reach out to the Earner via our internal messaging system to resolve the issue. Once the issue is resolved, the payment can be made directly from you to the Earner. It will no longer be an automatic payment once “Dispute” has been selected. Yes2That, LLC does not get involved with disputes. Carefully consider whom you choose to connect with. Yes2That, LLC facilitates introductions between Hirers and Earners, but it does not guarantee the outcome or quality of the experience.

What do I do if I posted a job and tagged only one friend who accepted and then deselected shortly thereafter?

If an Earner realizes that he/she is unable to complete your job post, he can click the “Unaccept” tab. You will then receive a notification that your job post was unaccepted. If you would like to send the post out again to additional friends, you can return to the listing and select “Edit Request”. You can then select “Update Tagged Friends” and add additional friends and submit your changes. When you tag more friends and submit the changes, the listing will be updated but not resent. To resend the post, select “Resend Request.”

What do I do if I posted a job, tagged multiple friends and one friend accepted and then deselected shortly thereafter?

This deselection will allow someone else to accept and complete your job post. The other friends you tagged, however, will not receive notification that the post is now open. In order for your tagged friends to see that your job is still available we suggest you return to your listing and select “Resend Request”. Strongly consider only sending job requests to friends and acquaintances you feel confident will follow through with your requests and/or keep the status of their acceptance current.

I received a friend request from an acquaintance who I most likely will never want to hire. How do I handle this situation?

You are able to accept friend requests from acquaintances even if you never plan to tag them in a job post or respond to their job posts. For each new job post you are able to hand pick from your list of friends or groups of friends you have created. You have no obligation to tag friends in your job posts just because they are on your friends list.

What if I want to edit my post?

Once you post a job, there is a tab on the post that says “Edit Request.” Click on this tab to make changes to your active post. You can save your changes, but the post will not resend to your friends unless you select “Resend request.”

Am I able to hire more than one person at a time for a single job post?

Yes, you are able to hire up to 10 individuals on one post. This feature is used so that you can hire more than one person to do a job. For example, if you need 4 friends to help you host a party or move furniture, you can select 4 on the drop down menu when creating a post.

I need several people for my job so I tagged multiple friends and only two accepted. Will the job and payments proceed with those who accepted?

Yes, the job will proceed with those who accepted your post. You can also edit your original post, add friends and resend the request in order to add individuals to your job.

When I create a job post, will the friends I tag for the job know who and how many people also receive my job post (if any?)

As a Hirer, you have the choice to allow those tagged in your job post to know the others tagged or not. When creating your job post, please select “Show Tagged Friends” if you would like the friends tagged to be seen/known by others tagged. If you do not want tagged friends to see/know who else is tagged on the job post select “Hide Tagged Friends”.

If I hire more than one Earner, will I be charged the platform fees for each Earner I hire?

Yes, you will be charged the platform fee for each Earner. Every transaction is a separate charge and requires the same standard Stripe processing and platform fees.

How do I know what price to set for my hire request?

Oftentimes, you can determine the amount to offer based on what you would be willing to be paid to complete the task if presented to you. If you do not receive a positive response from the amount you initially offer, consider increasing the amount. You can increase or decrease the amount while the post is open by selecting “Edit Request.” If you adjust the price and submit the changes, the listing will be updated but not resent. To resend the post, select “Resend Request.”

What does it mean when my job post indicates “Pending?”

Once your job is accepted, your job post will indicate “Pending” until the Earner indicates that the job has been completed. Once the Earner selects “Mark Complete”, you will be notified to make payment. You will have 48 hours to make payment or you will be charged automatically.

How do I completely delete a post from my dashboard?

Once your post is inactive, you may select the trash can image on the top right corner of your job post. An inactive post is one that hasn’t yet been accepted or has already been paid.

If I delete the post from my dashboard using the trash can image, will I still be able to see my transaction history and payments?

Yes, you can still see a list of all of your transactions. When logged into the website, select the “Payment” tab under your name in the top right corner. Then select “View Transaction History” to view your job history and payments.

I’m trying to delete a post from my dashboard, but don’t see an image of a trash can on the top right corner. What should I do?

If you don’t see a trash can on the top right corner of your post, this indicates that the post is still active and cannot yet be deleted. Active posts include posts that have been accepted and are pending, posts that have not yet been marked complete or posts that need to be paid. If you want to cancel the job post, select “Cancel Request.” Once your job request has been cancelled, you can click on the trash can image in the top right of your job post to delete it. Please note that job posts that require payment cannot be cancelled or deleted until payment is made.

Can I trust the friends of my friends on this website?

The answer to this question is subjective and based on your opinion of the referral. Strongly consider who you trust to connect with because Yes2That, LLC facilitates the connection between Hirers and Earners and does not guarantee a satisfactory experience.

How long does it take for Stripe to process my payment and what fees will I pay to Stripe and this platform?

What if I want to pay the Earner more than I originally offered?

Please do not pay the Earner less than the original amount you offered to pay when he or she accepted your job post. Extra payment to the Earner can only be made within the 48 hours after the job is “Marked Complete.” After 48 hours, the original price offered will be paid to the Earner. What happens if I receive a text or email about a job post from one of my friends, but the job is no longer available for me to accept when I open up the link?

If the job is no longer available for you to accept when you open up the link, this indicates that the job has already been accepted by another friend or deleted by the Hirer. Job requests are filled by the first Earner who responds to the request.

What do I do when I complete a job?

As soon as you’ve completed a job, select “Mark Complete” on the job post. Please do not select “Mark Complete” until the job is completely finished. This selection will notify the Hirer that payment needs to be made.

How quickly can I expect to receive payment from the Hirer?

The Hirer will have 48 hours to submit payment to you. After 48 hours, the Hirer’s credit card will be charged and you will receive payment after the standard Stripe processing period as described in our Payment Policy. Please note that the first payment that Earners receive takes over a week to be deposited in your account as Stripe has to verify each new account. After the first payment received, the deposits will occur a lot sooner.
