Payment Policy
Platform Fees
When you make a transaction through Yes2That, we use Stripe Connect to securely handle your payment. Our platform fees incorporate the Stripe processing fees.
- Hirers: Charged a 10% fee on each payment to an Earner (Minimum fee of $2.00).
- Earners: Charged a 5% fee on earnings (Minimum fee of $2.00; no maximum).
Cancellation Platform Fees
Hirers
- No Fee: If the Hirer cancels 24 hours before the start time.
- Per Request: If the Hirer cancels within 24 hours of the start time, the Hirer pays the Earner 20% of the original amount offered plus all associated platform fees.
- Per Hour: If the original offer was an hourly rate, the Hirer pays the Earner 20% of the total job posted. (Example: If the rate is $20/hr for 5 hours, the Hirer pays 20% of $100, which equals $20 plus platform fees).
- Earner Cancellation: No charge to the Hirer.
Earners
- No Penalty: If the Earner cancels more than 2 hours before the start time.
- Late Cancellation: If an Earner cancels within 2 hours of the start time or after the job has begun, YES2THAT reserves the right to immediately suspend, terminate, or deactivate the Earner’s account.
Payment Authorization and Settlement
All payments are securely processed by Stripe. By using our services, you agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service. Once a job is "Marked Complete" by an Earner, the following timeline applies:
- Within 48 Hours: The Hirer is encouraged to complete payment manually.
- After 24 Hours: Hirer receives an automatic payment reminder email.
- At 48 Hours: If payment is not completed, the Hirer’s credit card on file will be automatically charged for the full amount plus platform fees.
Exceptions & Failures
- Disputes: Within the first 48 hours, the Hirer can select "Dispute" to pause automatic payment. Both parties must work in good faith to agree on a final amount.
- Payment Failures: If an automatic charge fails, the Hirer must update payment information immediately. Continued failure may result in late fees.
Stripe Processing & Payouts
Processing Times
- Card Payments: 1–2 business days.
- Bank Transfers/ACH: 3–5 business days.
- First-Time Payments: May take 7–14 business days due to verification protocols.
Earner Payouts
Payouts are typically processed within 2 business days after a transaction is completed, depending on your country and bank history.
Refunds and Disputes
Eligibility: Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the transaction via support@yes2that.com. We respond to inquiries within 24 hours.
- Process: Approved refunds are credited back to the original payment method and take 5–10 business days to appear.
- Non-Refundable Fees: Stripe’s processing fees are non-refundable. The full amount paid may not be returned depending on the transaction type.
- Chargebacks: Initiating a chargeback with your bank may lead to the termination of your access to YES2THAT services.
